米軍のイラク攻撃の初期に書かれたこの詩は、「神を味方につけた正しい戦争」に駆り出された兵士が感じている矛盾を描いている。　

自分が生き続けるために、他の大事なものを破壊しないといけないとしたらどうすれば良いのか、という鋭い問いかけが繰り返される。　Bob Dylan の「神が味方」がベースになっているような作品。
