Wishful Thinking/ウィッシュフル・シンキング、Sandra/サンドラ

1969年にイギリスのデビッド・モルガン/David Morganによって作られ、Wishful Thinkingによって発表された。9年後の1978年に東ドイツのヒットチャートになぜか登場。ロングヒット。1990年に東ドイツの人気女性歌手、サンドラ/Sandraが若干ポップなアレンジにしてカバー。ドイツでも有名な歌になっている。サンドラ/Sandraは1980年代に日本でも人気だったアラベスク/Arabesqueという女性3人組ディスコ・ダンス・グループのリードボーカルで、全盛期には来日もしている。この歌をとりあげたのはそのときの経験も関係しているのであろう。
