日本で特に人気の高かったアイルランドのギタリスト・シンガー、ゲイリー・ムーア/Gary Mooreが1983年のアルバム、ダーティー・フィンガーズ/Dirty Fingersで発表した曲。このアルバム、1981年に製作されたのだが発売されず、日本のみで83年に発売、翌年にヨーロッパでも発売されたといういわくつきのアルバムである。なぜ発売が延期になったのかはよく分からない。

このアルバムのA面1曲目にこの曲が収録された。B面1曲目も米ソの核軍拡を歌った曲を収めた。ヨーロッパ人が原爆を日本に落としたアメリカを非難している歌。また、アメリカだけでなく、西側世界全体が深く反省すべきだというスタンスで、歌詞、曲調共に怒りが弾けているように聞こえる。
