WE SHALL OVERCOMEThe Revolution Will Not Be Televised/ アメリカの黒人歌手、ギル・スコット・ヘロン/Gil Scott-Heronが1970年に発表したラップのような曲。タイトル"Revolution Will Not Be Televised"は60年代公民権運動と別のところで盛り上がりを見せたブラックパワー運動のスローガンから取られた。
テレビは国民を洗脳するための手段で、むしろ革命を起こさなくするためにあるものだという考えに基づいて書かれた詩。具体的な人名や番組名などが登場して、面白い反面、難解かも知れないが、訴えているのはこのタイトルのこと。丸で今年（2014年）の都知事選挙報道のようだ。
